The Mini-Rooter Pro ships in three cable configurations, MRP-A with 50′ of 3/8″ cable, MRP-B with 75′ of 3/8″ cable, and MRP-C with 50′ of 1/2″ cable, each paired with an MRCS cutter set. The Mini-Rooter XP steps up with power cable feed on the P-XP-B (75′ x 3/8″) and P-XP-C (50′ x 1/2″) models. Replacement Flexicore cables and MRCS cutter sets for these machines are stocked separately, so a worn cable or cutter doesn’t mean replacing the whole machine.
Flexicore cables come in 1/4″, 3/8″, 1/2″, 5/8″, and 3/4″ diameters, in lengths from 25′ up to 100′, with male, female, or combined connector configurations depending on the machine and cutter setup. Match cable diameter to the machine first, a 3/8″ cable fits Mini-Rooter Pro models MRP-A and MRP-B, while 1/2″ cable fits the MRP-C and P-XP-C.
ClogChopper cutters run from 1″ through 4″ for different pipe diameters, and U-Cutters, Side Cutter Blades, and Spider double heavy-duty cutters cover more specialized cutting jobs on larger cable sizes. Chain cutters for the Flexi-Rooter, in 2″ double-chain, heavy-duty carbide-tipped, and 3″-4″ triple-chain configurations, handle heavier root and scale removal on that specific machine line.
Before a cable or cutter can work through a tight or collapsed section of pipe, a starting drill often has to open a path first. The Arrow Head Starting Drill and Boring Gimlet handle 3/8″ and 1/2″ cables, the Down Head Boring Gimlet is sized for 3/8″ cable specifically, and the Spear Head Starting Drill steps up to 5/8″ and 3/4″ cables for larger machines. These attach ahead of the cutter to punch through debris or a partially collapsed section before the main cutting attachment goes to work.
Beyond the Mini-Rooter, the lineup includes the Speedrooter 92 for heavier commercial cable work, the Sewerooter T4 drum machine, the Flexi-Rooter 100 flexible-shaft system, the JM-1000, JM1450C, and JM-2900-B water jetters, and the Super-Vee and Power-Vee for smaller-diameter lines. Ordering the wrong cable diameter for a machine is the most common mistake, check the machine’s spec before ordering replacement cable.
